How to Make Sweet Little Paper Dress Cards! No dies needed.

I recently watched a You Tube video on how to make an origami Paper dress, I thought these would make the sweetest card for all occasions!  So I had a great time crafting with friends and making these adorable dress cards.

These three are my favorites:

I used an old Stampin' Up background stamp for the background on most of these.

I left the sentiment off, for now, that way I can turn these into whatever I need them to be when I get ready to send it!

I used the Best Glue Ever to hold the layers and the dresses- worked great!  This adhesive allows the folded paper to keep its spring by not soaking into the fibers - no wet spots showing through or dents.

Just a tiny drop and bead hold it down perfectly

Add glue and then put a book on it to flatten it a bit

For the delicate die cut sentiment and embellishments, I also used the BGE

If you are interested in learning how to make these, here is the video I used, there is no sound, which worked better for me.  It took me 6 video repeats before I could make one.

I also found using the lightweight 6x6 designer paper worked really great for my A6-size cards.  for the A2 you might want to start with a 5x5 square. the stacks of 180 sheets of paper that you see in teh craft stores really work well.  I tried the Cardstock and it was much more difficult to fold and to bulky to mail.  Now if you wanted to make a sweet bridal shower bunting, the larger heavier paper would work beautifully!

Give this a try, it is very fun and relaxing!
